WASHINGTON, Ga. -- Mrs. Mary Possie Danner Denard, 76, of Danburg Road, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at Wills Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fishing Creek Baptist Church, Tignall, with the Rev. Roy Cates officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Denard, a native of Wilkes County, was a bookkeeper for Denard Moore Construction and B and M Construction. She also was a schoolteacher in Wilkes and DeKalb counties. She was a graduate of Danburg High School and Tift College. She was a past worthy matron of Order of the Eastern Star, Port Tampa, Fla., and a member of Kettle Creek Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Odian A. Denard Jr.; a son, David Denard, Lawrenceville; a sister, Frances D. Daniel, Lawrenceville; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brian Denard, Barry Denard, David Sidney Danner, Jeff Daniel, Sam Moore and Dennis Bufford.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 today at Hopkins Funeral Home.
