WRENS, Ga. -- Mr. Robert Willie "Hamp" Hannah, 71, of Matthews Street, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at Stone Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church, Stapleton, with the Rev. Leroy Britt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hannah, a native of Jefferson County, was a member of Stone Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church, where he was a member of pastor's aide board. He was a member of Society of Stapleton, Brothers and Sisters of Faith and Truth and the True and Benevolent Society of Thomson.
Survivors include two sons, Robert L. Hannah, Stone Mountain, and Harold McCall, Wrens; two brothers, James Roy Harris, Thomson, and Willis Martin, Philadelphia; two stepsisters, Sallie Maude Sinquefield and Louise Jordan, both of Atlanta; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shelton Farmer, Jimmy Farmer, Clarence Farmer, Eddie Farmer, Donald Winn and Charlie Hales.
Honorary pallbearers will be stewards and trustees of the church.
Friends may call at the residence of Dorothy Mae Hannah, Sterling Street, Wrens.
Freemans Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
