Mr. Marcelo P. Rodriguez, 72, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Charlie R. Beasley officiating.
Mr. Rodriguez, a native of Cayey, Puerto Rico, was a small-appliance maintenance and repairman. He had retired from the Army as a first sergeant. He was a member of 32nd degree Scottish Rite Masons.
Survivors include his wife, Dora C. Rodriguez; four sons, Marc C. Rodriguez, Burke, Va., Frank X. Rodriguez, Brandon, Fla., Rick L. Rodriguez, Dupont, Wash., and Gilbert E. Rodriguez, Augusta; two daughters, Lourdes I. Sellars, Augusta, and Carmen L. Meyer, Pittsboro, Ind.; a stepmother, Wihelmina Casanova, Guayama, Puerto Rico; two sisters, Aurora Ruiz, Lodi, N.J., and Olga Mota, New York; a stepbrother, Andres Casanova, Guayama; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the military.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Poteet Funeral Home, Peach Orchard Road.
