Mr. W.M. "Bill" Bussey Sr., 70, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at University Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Westover Memorial Park, with the Rev. Robert Taylor officiating.
Mr. Bussey, a native of Lincolnton, had retired as sales manager for Merry Brother and Boral Brick Co. A Marine veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he was a graduate of Richmond Academy and Augusta Law School, a charter member and past president of Thunderbird Boating Club and a member of OIF American Legion Post 63. He was a member of Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church.
The family said; "He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather."
Survivors include his wife, Helen A. Bussey; two sons, Tommy Bussey, Fayetteville, and Mitchel Bussey, Augusta; two daughters, Cindy Bussey and Pam B. Kennedy, both of Augusta; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Everette H. Kitchens, Steve Cawthon, Travis Bussey, Rick Bussey, Ed McGee, Kris Kennedy and Owen Nine.
Memorials may be made to Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church, 1330 Monte Sano Ave., Augusta, GA 30909.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Platt's Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue.
