Mr. Emory Sells



MCCORMICK, S.C. -- Mr. Emory Lee "Shorty" Sells, 78, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at Catawba Memorial Hospital, Hickory, N.C.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Freeland Family Cemetery, Plum Branch.

Mr. Sells, a native of Walton County, Ga., was a retired roofer and a carpenter. A resident of McCormick for 28 years, he was a member of McCormick United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Sells, Angier, N.C., Melvin Sells, Takahara, Japan, and Richard Sells, Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter, Tamatha Sells, Florence; a brother, N. T. Sells, Winder, Ga.; two sisters, Robena Wall, Statham, Ga., and Ruby Nell Wilber, Winder; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at he residence of Sara White Duncan, Plum Branch.

Strom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
