BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Mr. Willie Rogers Moseley, 52, of Avenue West Apartments, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Young Rosemary Missionary Baptist Church, Williston, S.C., with the Revs. Phinice Young, James Moody, P.W. Watson and Beverly Ashley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Moseley, a native of Barnwell County, was employed with the New York City transit bus system. A 1967 graduate of Kelly Edwards High School, he served was a Marine Corp. veteran. He had been a driver for Mason and Dixon Trucking Co. of Secaucaus, N.J., and a security officer for Starrett City.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Lee Gaffney Mosely; four sons, Christopher Thurston, Philadelphia, Shawn Moseley and Kawand Moseley, both of Brooklyn, and Gerald Williams, Williston, S.C.; a daughter, Catrina Williams, Williston; four brothers, Aaron Wilson, Islip, N.Y., Tyrone Moseley, Williston, and Paul Wilson Jr. and Dondi Wilson, both of Brooklyn; four sisters, Alice Mae Jackson and Lillie Faye Wilson, both of Brooklyn, and Helen Wilson and Wanda Wilson, both of Williston; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence of Helen Wilson, Green Court, Williston, or at Simmons Funeral Home, Williston.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to noon today at the funeral home.
