BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- Mr. Jack Edwards Sr., 97, of Reynolds Street, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Barnwell County Nursing Home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, with Dr. Thomas Terry officiating. Burial will be in Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery, Kitchings Mill.
Mr. Edwards, a native of Thomson, had retired as general foreman for Edisto Experiment Station. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Jimmy Edwards, Blackville, Louie Edwards, Melbourne, Fla., Jack "Jackie" Edwards Jr., West Palm Beach, Fla., Joe Edwards, Eagle Lake, Fla., and Danny Edwards, Sumter; three daughters, Camille Manning and Patricia Still, both of Columbia, and Elizabeth Fry, Manchester, Tenn.; and 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be deacons of Blackville First Baptist Church.
