Mr. Celestine Lamble



THOMSON -- Mr. Celestine "Chris" Lamble, 78, of Forest Clary Drive, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Thomson Manor.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Beggs Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward O'Connor officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Irwinville City Cemetery, Irwinville.

Mr. Lamble, a native of Evansville, Ind., had retired from the Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Evansville.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Louise Daughtery Lamble; three sons, Stanley Joe Lamble, Riverview, Fla., Tony D. Lamble, Tinley Park, Ill., and Andrew Lee Lamble, Peru, Ind.; two daughters, Sue Hancock, Irwinville, and Dena J. Gerkitz, Thomson; and 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joe Lutwinski, Lee Elliott, Jamie Schaefer, Kelly Schaefer, Eddie Gerkitz and Johnny Hancock.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
