Miss Sheneta Garnett



Miss Sheneta Latonya Garnett, 25, of Story Drive, Appling, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Mount Carmel Baptist Church with the Rev. Elijah Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Miss Garnett, a native of Franklin County, was a computer operator and a student at Augusta Technical Institute. She was a graduate of Harlem High School and a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, where she served as an usher.

Survivors include a daughter, Kierra S. Benning, Appling; her parents, Edward and Rosie McGruder Garnett, Appling; two brothers, Charles Leverett, Augusta, and Lavon Garnett, Appling; two sisters, Karen R. Cousins, Appling, and Jacqueline Leverett, Germany; and her paternal grandmother, Annie Bell Garnett, Appling.

Pallbearers will be members of Harlem High School Class of 1992.

Friends may call at the residence of her parents, 7119 Story Drive.

The family will receive friends at the church after burial.

Thomson Funeral System is in charge of arrangements.
