AUBURN, Ala. -- No. 8 Auburn scored the first nine points of the game en route to its fifth straight victory, 79-31 over Charleston Southern on Wednesday.
Tiffany Krantz led Auburn (10-1) with 16 points, one of 13 Tigers who scored. Tasha Hamilton and Shana Askew each had 11 points for Auburn.
Charleston Southern (3-6) trailed 36-16 at the half and did not have anyone in double figures. Jennifer Shevenock, however, led all rebounders with nine.
Auburn's margin of victory during its streak has been 39.8 points.
