Mr. Joseph Anthony "Joe" Lang, 46, of Martinez, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston.
The funeral will be at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at Church of the Most Holy Trinity with the Rev. Allan J. McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Lang, a native of Dayton, Ohio, was vice president of engineering and manufacturing at E-Z Go Textron. He was a graduate of University of Dayton, where he was a member of Tau Alpha Phi Engineering Honor Society. He had attended Harvard Business School.
He was a member of the American Society of Manufacturing Engineers and several of its standards committees.
He was a member of the National Golf Car Manufacturers Association, where he was chairman of engineering committee. He was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, where he served as chairman of the low-speed vehicle task group and as a member of three other committees.
He also was a member of West Lake Country Club, Woodside Plantation Country Club and St. Teresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Wisenor Lang; two daughters, Amanda Renee Lang and Andrea Nicole Lang, both of Martinez; his parents, E. Le-Roy and Catherine Lucille Lang, Dayton; a brother, Christopher B. Lang, Dayton; and four sisters, Jan Brinkman, Rochester, Mich., Marti Thurman, Ann Arbor, Mich., Marianna Keithley, Earlysville, Va., and Jane Jackson, Dayton.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lang, Casey Pearson, Martin Comella, Rick Mahaffie, Kim Lombardy and Don Brokmeyer.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, with a vigil at 8 p.m.
