I recall formally requesting school records from Richmond County School Superintendent Dr. Charles Larke, the Richmond County personnel director and her assistant, the chief of the school police department and school system attorney Leonard "Pete" Fletcher. They knew I needed the information to support a particular case.
The superintendent and Personnel Director Julia Impink both referred me to the school attorney. ...
I hand-delivered a properly-written request for information to Mr. Fletcher's office, but I felt like they were "the good ol' boys" in that office. The apparent hostility toward me ended any hope I might have had to get the necessary information. The absence of a response do not seem to bother anyone but me. Is this justice for all?
