Mrs. Margie Johnson



WARRENTON, Ga. -- Mrs. Margie Mae Johnson, 67, of Rabun Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at Doctors Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sheppard Funeral Home, Gibson, with the Rev. Jimmy Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell City Cemetery, Mitchell.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Glascock County, was a sewing machine operator. She was a member of Griffin Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Johnson; four sons, Johnny Johnson, Stapleton, Billy Johnson, Tennille, and Louis Johnson and Raymond Johnson, both of Warrenton; a daughter, Linda Hattaway, Sandersville; a sister, Geneva Palsay, Hephzibah; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Johnson, John Lee Johnson, James T. Cooper, Carey Hattaway Jr., Bobby Redfern and William Mathis.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
