The Celebrate 2000 New Year's Eve Celebration will be like no other party that Augusta has seen this century. For the first time ever, Augusta will close Broad Street between 6th and 12th streets, one of the widest streets in America, for a street party to celebrate the new millennium.

It's a historical event that you won't want to miss. Starting at 3:00 p.m., there'll be live music from three stages featuring national acts The Impressions and People Who Must and local flavor from Impulse Ride, Shiloh, Tony Howard and many more. Plus, in our special children's area, there will be exciting events and activities designed especially for kids. The evening will end with a grand finale of spectacular fireworks and effects from the Broad Street stages and downtown rooftops. For more information visit the Celebrate 2000 Street Party FAQ.
