BRONX, N.Y. -- Mrs. Gladys Nichols Kendrick, 87, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at New Salem Baptist Church, Washington, Ga., with the Rev. R.L. Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kendrick, a native of Wilkes County, Ga., was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, William Kendrick Sr., Greensboro, Ga., James Kendrick Sr., Rayle, Ga., Robert Kendrick Sr., Washington, and Luther Kendrick, Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Mary Graves, Bronx, Thelma Kendrick, Washington, and Sallie Head, Atlanta; five sisters, Camelia Harris, Lula Nichols, Alma Harris, Agnes Bailey and Lila Quinn; a brother, Rob Kendrick, Washington; and 30 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
McLendon Memorial Funeral Home, Washington, is in charge of arrangements.
