Jagr leads NHL World all-star voting



NEW YORK -- Jaromir Jagr leads all players for the NHL World all-stars in fan balloting released Tuesday.

The Pittsburgh Penguins right wing received 95,118 votes, to lead Detroit Red Wings defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom who has 84,411 votes.

NHL players from the United States and Canada will make up the North American team that will face NHL players from the rest of the world in the 50th NHL All-Star game on Feb. 6 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre.

Leaders at other positions include center Mats Sundin of the Toronto Maple Leafs (48,988) and goaltender Dominik Hasek of the Buffalo Sabres (49,165).

Voting concludes on Jan. 3.
