Mr. Fred D. Mixson, 65, of Japonica Avenue, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Moses Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Green officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Mixson was a master tile seater and a member of Moses Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Mixson; two sons, Charles Mixson, Atlanta, and Fredrick Henley, Augusta; three brothers, Louis Green and Arthur Bush, both of North Augusta, and William Green, Jacksonville, Fla.; four sisters, Bernice Wilson, Miami, and Annie Mae Williams, Blanch Green and Marie Hodges, all of Jacksonville; and ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Haynes, Ozzie Owens, Johnnie B. Estes, Harold Cook, Otis Harrison, Cleveland L. Edea and Leon B. Sabb.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. today at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home.
