Mr. Fred Miller, of Third Avenue, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Moses Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Green officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Miller, a native of Vicksburg, Miss., had retired from Atlanta Gas Light Co. after 34 years. He had served in the Army and was a member of Moses Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, member of the senior choir and president of the male choir.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Miller; two daughters, Miriam Buggs and Annie Banner, both of Augusta; three brothers, Robert Miller, Charlie Miller and Richard Miller, all of Vicksburg; three sisters, Rosa Stanfield, Daisy Gibson and Ethel Miller, all of Los Angeles; and nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rosco Jimperson, James Wells, Roy Price, Sam Lewis Jr., Larry Meninger, Danford Hawkins and Charlie Jackson.
