In regard to the Oct. 27 "Across the Area" article concerning Amy Marie Johnson and her indictment for felony offense of reckless conduct by an HIV infected person, I'd like to propose the following:
Since Ms. Johnson is infected with AIDS and has been found guilty of the same charge involving a different man in 1998, wouldn't it be more effective to provide her photograph along with the article of infected people who deliberately expose others to this virus? After all, it's three DUIs and your photo is published.
Do we have to wait for a third in her case?
Surely one conviction would be sufficient, but certainly two could be considered enough to warn the population of a convicted carrier.
