WHITE PLAINS, Ga. -- Mr. Levy Howard Johnson, 81, of Jackson Avenue, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at the Georgia War Veterans Home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at White Plains Cemetery with Dr. Norman Waldrip officiating.
Mr. Johnson, a native of Thomas, was self-employed as a maintenance worker and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of White Plains High School and was a member of the Moose Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sparta, and White Plains Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carribel Johnson; three sons, Edward Lewis, Sparta, Timothy Lewis, Milledgeville, and Thomas Lewis, White Plains; two daughters, Evelyn Smith, Valley, Ala., and Kathy Edwards, White Plains; a sister, Willie Mae Cory, College Park; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
