SWAINSBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Winnie Smith Coleman died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at Emanuel County Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary with the Revs. Franklin Sasser and Bob Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Twin City Cemetery.
Mrs. Coleman, a native of Laurens County, S.C. had retired as a fourth grade teacher. She was a graduate of Georgia State College for Women, Milledgeville, and was a member of the Swainsboro Garden Club, the Emanuel County Retired Teachers Association, and the Happy Rovers. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the TEL Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a son, Hobson G. Coleman, Boston; a daughter, Margaret S. Smith, Twin City; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dickson Durden, Jimmy Morgan, Grayson Trapnell, Robert Overstreet, Bill Rountree and Jay Lawson.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the TEL Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
