LINCOLNTON, Ga. -- Mr. Henry Doyle Jones, 52, of 2167 Maxim Road, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mulberry Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Christopher Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Jones, a native of Lincolnton, was a groundskeeper and was a member of Mulberry Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mozell Jones; a son, Henry Roderiques Jones, Lincolnton; two daughters, Cynthia Jones-Elam, Martinez, and Sonya J. Lakin, Glendale, Ariz.; his father, John Rogers Jones, Lincolnton; three sisters, Laura A. Elam and Emma Parks, both of Lincolnton, and Esther Springfield, Hephzibah; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Mulberry Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and after the funeral.
Wright and Jones Funeral Home, Lincolnton, is in charge of arrangements.
