Mr. Farris Andrews Sr.



SANDERSVILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Farris "Bell Shaver" Andrews Sr., 81, of 115 Newman St., died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at Georgia War Veterans Home, Milledgeville.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holly Spring Baptist Church, Warthen, with the Rev. Raymond Andrews officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Andrews was a native of Washington County.

Survivors include six sons, Forrest Lee Andrews, Greenville, S.C., and Gary Lee Andrews, James E. Andrews, Tony Andrews, Jonathan Andrews and Michael Andrews, all of Sandersville; seven daughters, Annie Mae Andrews, Fleeta A. Poole, Bertha Lee Hall, Alice A. Kitchens, Zeffie Lee Andrews, Pauline Outlaw and Alma A. Scarver, all of Sandersville; his mother, Bertha Latimore Andrews; four brothers, Primus Andrews and Jerry Andrews Sr., both of Sandersville, James Andrews, Atlanta, and Willie Nelson, Mitchell; three sisters, Lula Trawick, Atlanta, and Zeffie Pleas and Bessie Cummings, both of Sandersville; and 28 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Terry Miller, Larry Cato, Jerry Gilbert, Calvin Wadley, Racie Warthen and Hazel Brown.

M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Sandersville, is in charge of arrangements.
