Mrs. Doris Adams



DEARING -- Mrs. Doris Mable Swint Adams, 70, of 2667 Tudor Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at University Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, Thomson, with the Rev. Mike Timmerman officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson.

Mrs. Adams, a native of Glascock County, had retired after 35 years as a seamstress with Thomson Co. She was a member of Dearing Baptist Church.

The family said, "She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother."

Survivors include her husband, Guy S. Adams; a son, Gary Adams, Dearing; two daughters, Linda A. Murray and Ann A. Reeves, both of Dearing; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Murray, Patrick Murray, Roy Adams, James Swint, Larry Swing, Adrian Adams, Terry Adams, and George Holliman.

Friends may call at the residence of Larry Murray, 3987 Neal Mill Road.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Beggs Funeral Home.
