GLENWOOD, Ga. -- Mrs. Mary Kent Clark, 85, died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999, at Lynn Haven Nursing Center, Gray.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Glenwood United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Norwood officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood City Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark, a native of Wheeler County, had retired after 51 years as a public schoolteacher. She was an athlete at Brewton-Parker College and had graduated from Georgia Teachers College, Statesboro. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. After retiring, she was active with Bloodmobile and American Cancer Society. She was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Lowell Clark, Macon; a daughter, Grace Clark Greene, Savannah; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Brewton-Parker College, Georgia Highway 280, Mount Vernon, GA 30445.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Ronnie L. Stewart & Son Funeral Home, Glenwood Chapel.
