JACKSON -- Mr. William George O'Quinn, 71, of 606 Third St. Extension, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999, at his residence.
A memorial service will be at noon Saturday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Augusta, with the Rev. Neal Phelps officiating.
Mr. O'Quinn, a native of Ware County, Ga., had retired as a nuclear engineer. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of the West Point Society of Augusta, the Pinnacle Club and the Elks Club. He was a member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine L. O'Quinn; a son, Alan A. Joe, Conyers, Ga.; three daughters, Constance Ellen Joe, Covington, Ga., Marilyn Anne Dill, Baton Rouge, La., and Joanie D. Joe, Martinez; a brother, James Foster O'Quinn Jr., Woodstock, Ga.; a sister, Ann Elizabeth Young, Kearney, Neb.; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
