Mr. Hubert Leonard Brady Jr., 80, of Augusta, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fleming Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Conner officiating. Burial with Masonic rites and military honors will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Brady, a native of West Lake, Fla., had retired from the Army as a sergeant first class. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the 99th Signal Corps "Battle Babies Unit." He was past commander of the Pendleton King Chapter of Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of Richmond Masonic Lodge 412, Free and Accepted Masons, where he was a chaplain; the Scottish Rite Consistory, Valley of Savannah, where he was given the Knights Commander Court of Honor; the Alee Shrine Temple, where he was chaplain of the Legion of Honor; and the Alice Warren Chapter 482, Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of Fleming Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Marisa Ann Brady, Augusta; four brothers, Teddy Brady, Millen, Harry G. Brady and Ernest Brady, both of Aiken, and John P. Brady, Augusta; and two sisters, Betty B. Moody, Jesup, and Eloise B. Smith, Orlando, Fla.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Richmond Lodge 412.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Poteet Funeral Home, Peach Orchard Road.
