Mr. Marvin Charles Pearman, 82, of 3312 Crane Ferry Road, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Martinez United Methodist Church with the Rev. Howard Bledsoe officiating. Burial will be in Pierce Memorial United Methodist Cemetery.
Mr. Pearman, a native of Albany, Mo., had retired from civil service and had been a teacher for signal school. He had also retired from the Air Force and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Martinez United Methodist Church, where he was a member of United Methodist Men's Club and McDonald Sunday School Class.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Glasco Pearman; a son, Paul Pearman, Augusta; three daughters, Kathy Berry, Portland, Ore., and Mary Ann Aranda and Susie Felz, both of Augusta; a sister, Wylma de Voogdt, California; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harvie Hogan, Harold Dye, Jim Lewis, Howard Aiken, Tom Starnes and Lewis Heath.
Honorary pallbearers will be the McDonald Sunday School Class.
Memorials may be made to Martinez United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 3614 Washington Road, Martinez, GA 30907.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
