SYLVANIA, Ga. -- Mrs. Lillie Mae Griffin Rooker, 85, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at Woodlawn Retirement Center, Henderson, N.C.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Scarborough officiating. Burial will be in Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Rooker, a native of Screven County, was a waitress and a homemaker. She was a member of Greenhill Baptist Church.
Survivors include several stepchildren and two sisters, Susie G. Owens, Sylvania, and Mary Emma Brown, Creedmoor, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
