JACKSON, S.C. -- Mr. Fleming David Moore, 69, of 621 Fourth St. Ext., died Sunday, Aug. 29, 1999, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at George Funeral Home, Whiskey Road, with the Rev. Danny Hill officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Moore, a native of Charleston, had retired as a senior supervisor from DuPont after 42 years. He was the owner of Moore's Trailer Park and Moore's Rental and Sales. He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he had received the Occupation Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a Methodist.
The family said: "He enjoyed cars and fishing."
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Griffin Moore; six daughters, Elaine Gorham, Fayetteville, Ga., Pamela Allen, Aiken, and Debra Hill, Scarlet Batson, Amanda Moore and Kelly Moore, all of Jackson; two stepsons, Rusty McKenzie and Danny McKenzie, both of New Ellenton; two stepdaughters, Penny Franklin, Jackson, and Tammy McKenzie, Beech Island; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lenny Williamson, John Curtis, Bart Mims, Earl Ayers, Rusty McKenzie and Danny McKenzie.
Memorials may be made to Hitchcock Hospice, 721 Richland Ave. W., Aiken, SC 29801.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
