Mrs. Thalia L. Cook, 52, of 251 Merion Court, Martinez, died Friday, Aug. 27, 1999, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home, North Augusta, with the Rev. Gary Little officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville.
Mrs. Cook, a native of Augusta, had retired as a child care worker at Westside Christian Church and was a former food service worker with the Columbia County Board of Education. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of Life Outreach Center.
Survivors include her husband, Gary D. Cook; eight sons, Van Trimnall, Statesville, Dean Cook and Buddy Cook, both of North Augusta, and Timothy Cook, Daniel Cook, Nick Schlagenhauser, Larry Schlagenhauser and Drew Gaddy, all of Augusta; four daughters, Nora Lord, Laura Ross and Rebekah Cook, all of Augusta, and Anne Cook, Charlotte, N.C.; her parents, Thomas and Virginia Overstreet, Augusta; two brothers, Charles Hallman and Tracy Overstreet, both of Augusta; a sister, Tommie McCloud, Keysville; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her sons.
