Mrs. Agnes Wren Lankster, 78, of 2146 Eastside Court, died Friday, Aug. 27, 1999, at University Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Platt's Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue, with the Rev. Joe Pritchett officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lankster, a native of Glascock County, had retired as a teacher from Roy E. Rollins Elementary School after 26 years. She was a member of the Richmond County Retired Teachers Association and Iron Hill Advent Christian Church, Dearing. She attended Bethlehem Advent Christian Church, where she was a member of the Woman's Home, Foreign Mission Society and the Young at Hearts.
Survivors include a son, Charles W. Lankster, Augusta; three daughters, Kay Riley, Lawrenceville, Carol Taylor, Evans, and Marilyn Hamilton, Martinez; a brother, Albert Wren, Gibson; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Tate, Don Tunnell, Allen Wren, Don Whitfield, Don Wren and George Wren.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Young at Hearts.
Memorials may be made to Advent Christian Village, Dowling Park, Fla.
