BARTOW, Ga. -- Mr. Richard Brinson Sr., 51, of 2256 Nails Creek Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Tarvers Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. K.E. Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Brinson, a native of Bartow, was a former solderer for the Thermo King Corp. in Louisville. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Hickson Brinson; five sons, Ritchie R. Brinson, Ashley E. Brinson and Richard Brinson Jr., all of Bartow, Otis R. Brinson, Suwanee, and Christopher G. Brinson, Duluth; his mother, Willie Clyde Hannah Brinson; three brothers, Otis Brinson Jr., Brooklyn, N.Y., Eugene Brinson, White Plains, N.Y., and Calvin Brinson, Bartow; three sisters, Clara Nedwards and Eunice Brinson, both of Bartow, and Rhina Brinson, White Plains; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence or at Hudson Mortuary.
