Profile: In his fourth year as starting quarterback for the Chiefs, Rondel will look to lead his troops back to the Class A state title game where he led them in 1997. The 6-1, 160-pounder suffered a disappointing junior season -- after a stellar sophomore stint -- by throwing for 831 yards with 12 touchdowns and rushing for 282 yards with seven touchdowns. Rondel will be the go-to guy on offense again this season and is a legitimate I-AA prospect.

Michael Allen on Calhoun: "Last year was a down year for him, but he is a threat every time he gets his hands on the ball. We're real impressed with him and he is just a great athlete. He'll be our offense for awhile this season."
Rondel Calhoun on Calhoun: "I want to get to state for one thing. Last year wasn't one of my best years but it wasn't bad. My daughter is the real reason why I work so hard because I want to show her what hard work can lead to. I want to be a model for her."
