BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- Mr. Royce Randolph Still Sr., 81, of Reynolds Street, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999, at Providence Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Blackville First Baptist Church with Dr. Thomas Terry officiating. Burial will be in Blackville Cemetery.
Mr. Still, a native of Blackville, was a probation and parole officer for the state of South Carolina in Barnwell County for 27 years. He was mayor pro tem of Blackville and on the Blackville Town Council for several years. He was a member of Blackville Masonic Lodge 63 and Blackville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Joseph R. Still, Jack O. Still and Royce "Edward" Still, all of Blackville, and Royce "Randy" Still Jr., Barnwell; three daughters, Evon Diamond, Blackville, Mary Poston, Denmark, and Diane Croft, Fayetteville, Ga.; a brother, Martin Luther Still, Barnwell; a sister, Mary Howell, Atlanta; and 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Blackville First Baptist Church or to the Blackville Cemetery Fund.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Folk Funeral Home, Williston.
