AIKEN -- Mr. Odell Williams, 62, of 909 Cox Ave. N.W., died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter Baptist Church, Elko, with the Rev. A.C. Settles Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Williams, a native of Barnwell, had lived in Aiken most of his life. He was self-employed as a bricklayer and was a member of St. Peter Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Lewis Williams; a son, Samuel Hall, Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Diane Williams and Denise Williams, both of Aiken; two brothers, Joe N. Williams, Aiken, and Alfonzo Williams, Bronx, N.Y.; a sister, Geneva Williams, Aiken; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Willie James Thomas, McDonald Priester Jr., William Salley, John Henry Taylor, Roscoe Priester and Levorn Taylor.
Friends may call at the residence or after 3 p.m. today at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home.
