Mrs. Dorothy I. Brown Jason, 68, of 1543 Wilder St., died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at United House of Prayer for All People with George Young officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jason, a native of Richmond County, had retired from University Hospital. She was a secretary for Madison Charoliers. She was a member of United House of Prayer for All People.
The family said: "Mrs. Jason was the wife of the late Mr. Matthew Jason. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed."
Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia D. Collier, Augusta; two sisters, Shirley Huff and Evelyn Parks, both of Augusta; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Toney Collier Jr., Patrick Collier, Lamont Taylor, Richard Brown, Chad Brown and Michael Taylor.
Friends may call at the residence or at W.H. Mays Mortuary.
