Ms. Maxie Allen

STILLMORE, Ga. -- Ms. Maxie Allen, 50, died Thursday, July 29, 1999, at Candler County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. L.D. Glover officiating. Burial will be in Stillmore City Cemetery.

Ms. Allen, a native of Emanuel County, had attended Emanuel County public schools and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include five stepbrothers, Luther Woods and Billy Woods, both of Stillmore, Cecil Woods, Metter, Floyd Woods, Orlando, Fla., and Johnny Woods, Miami; three stepsisters, Mattie Burton, Canton, Ohio, and Sallie Durden and Luetichie Ramgoolam, both of Miami; her mother, Annie M. Woods, Stillmore; a brother, Tommy Allen, Stillmore; and four sisters, Marie Allen, Eddie Dean Allen and Inez Allen, all of Stillmore, and Nannie Glover, Lynn Haven, Fla.

Pallbearers will be Willie James Buie, L.J. Hughes, Calvin Bethea, Alphonso Durden, David Glover Jr. and Charles Baldwin.

Friends may call at the residence of Annie Woods.

Reno Tapley Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
