Recently I have been reading letters written about Rep. Charlie Norwood, R-Ga. The irony of it all, the writers of those lettersapparently do not know the man. As a case in point, this writer makes it his business to attend Rep. Norwood's meetings. Often I am able to speak to him personally.
Just to set the record straight, Rep. Norwood is "God-fearing" and he loves people, not just District 10, but all people. He is a strong advocate for protecting the Social Security system programs for all retired people. For those of you who don't know Rep. Norwood, he is a military veteran.
On July 18, Rep. Norwood visited the historic Spirit Creek Baptist Church and presented the church an American flag that was actually flown atop the U.S. Capitol Building on July 8. This was done in recognition of the church's 199th-year anniversary. There is one other very important thing one must know and understand about Rep. Norwood before you attempt to write about him, and that is Charlie Norwood sincerely believes ... "that the product of your life and labor should be your `net worth."'
