LOUISVILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Elizabeth Hall Flournoy, 74, of 1071 Georgia Highway 17 S., died Thursday, July 22, 1999, at University Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Pierce Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Willie Pierce, P.I. Floyd and Charles Holloway officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Flournoy, a native of Jefferson County, was a homemaker and a member of Louisville Senior Citizens Club. She was a member of Pierce Grove Baptist Church, where she was mother of the church, a member of the missionary board and the deaconess board, sang in the senior choir and was director of the young adult choir.
The family said: "She was truly no stranger to anyone. To know her really was to love her. She always embraced others with love, enthusiasm and laughter."
Survivors include her husband, Willie Lee Flournoy; four sons, Johnnie Flournoy and Ronnie Flournoy, both of Louisville, Harvey Flournoy, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Gregory K. Flournoy, San Diego; four daughters, Elaine Flournoy and Sharon Moore, both of Savannah, Carolyn Flournoy, Rex, and Glenda Freeman, Louisville; three brothers, Anthony Hall Sr. and Harvey Hall, both of Hollywood, Fla., and Archie Hall, Wadley; two sisters, Mary H. Floyd, Wadley, and Maggie H. Knowles, Hollywood; and 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Hall Jr., Homer Hall Jr., Mack Andrews, Donnie Floyd, Carl Bennett, James Hall, Eric Brown and Harvey Flournoy Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons and trustees of the church.
