TENNILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Geraldine Chapman Meeks Lockhart, 65, of 323 Fourth St., died Wednesday, July 21, 1999, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at E.K. May Funeral Home with the Revs. Larry Bennett and Elizabeth Williford officiating. Burial will be in Zeta Cemetery.
Mrs. Lockhart, a native of Crawford County, had retired as a seamstress and was a homemaker. She was a member of Tennille Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Raymond Lockhart Sr.; a son, Melvin J. Meeks, Helena; a daughter, Lavada D. Johnson, Tennille; two stepsons, Charlie Raymond Lockhart Jr., Macon, and George Benjamin Lockhart, Centerville; two stepdaughters, Marquerite Thurmond and Annette Ford, both of Macon; two brothers, Arthur Chapman Jr. and Fred Chapman, both of Macon; a sister, Eva Walker, Macon; and six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.
