LACOMBE, La. -- Mrs. Marie Amanda Jackson, 89, died Monday, July 5, 1999, at Lacombe Nursing Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
Mrs. Jackson, a native of Young's Island, S.C., and a former resident of Mount Pleasant, S.C., had lived in Lacombe for five years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, James Elliott Jackson Sr., Lacombe; four daughters, June Marie Durden, Lacombe, Carrie Maybelle Key, McCormick, S.C., Samantha Ann Moody, North Augusta, and Mary Catherine Kloeppel, Marshall, Mo.; two sisters, Thelma E. White, Charleston, S.C., and Evelyn E. Harris, Kingstree, S.C.; and 36 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Honaker Funeral Home, Slidell, is in charge of arrangements.
