AIKEN -- Mr. Ronald Burd, 72, of 205 Pebble Lane, died Monday, June 28, 1999, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Rivers Funeral Home with the Rev. M. Eugene Mullikin officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Graniteville.
Mr. Burd, a native of Harrisburg, Pa., had retired from NUS Halliburton as an environmental scientist. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a ham radio operator, a member of the National Rifle Association and a Mason. He was an Episcopalian.
Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Hilbish "Herkie" Burd; three sons, James E. Burd, Langhorne, Pa., J. Scott Burd, Idyllwild, Calif., and Jeffrey D. Burd, West Lebanon, Ind.; a daughter, Judith A. Burd, Holmes Beach, Fla.; a brother, Dale Burd, Oceanport, N.J.; two sisters, Lois B. Enck, Quentin, Pa., and Norma Burd, Harrisburg, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
