AIKEN -- Mrs. Beauford Partridge Woodward, 90, of 3421 Trolley Line Road, died Friday, July 2, 1999, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke United Methodist Church, Augusta, with the Revs. Jo Anna Pence and Mark Smith officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta.
Mrs. Woodward, a native of Augusta, had retired after 60 years as a registered nurse in hospital service and as a private duty nurse. She was a member of the University Hospital Retired Nurses Association. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Friendship Group and had organized and made table arrangements for 25 years.
The family said: "She had a great love for her God, family and friends and they had a great love for her. She enjoyed fishing and gardening."
Survivors include a daughter, Stella Canady Woodward, Aiken; a brother, Harold K. Partridge, Augusta; a sister, Lois P. Smith, Atlanta; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Tuchscherer, Phillip Woodward, Tony Woodward, Brandon Tuchscherer, Mike Mitchell, Buford Connelly, Jimmy Hutto and Richard Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Friendship Group at St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to Hitchcock Hospice, 721 Richland Ave. W., Aiken, SC 29801; or to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 309 Crawford Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.
Friends may call at the residence of Stella Canady Woodward, 3421 Trolley Line Road.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Hatcher Funeral Home, Langley, is in charge of arrangements.
