Mr. Shellie Norman Gibson, of 1730 Sibley Road, died Saturday, July 3, 1999, at Windermere Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Augusta with Drs. Rodger Murchison and Phillip Bennett officiating.
Mr. Gibson, a native of Madison, N.C., was a former resident of Winston-Salem, N.C. He had retired as an insurance agent. He was a member of Ardmore Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, and was deacon and president of the Pilot Mountain Baptist Brotherhood Association. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Hull Gibson; a daughter, Selma Gibson Horton, Martinez; three brothers, Everette Gibson and Julian Gibson, both of Winston-Salem, and Herbert Gibson, Statesville, N.C.; a sister, Alice Wollschlager, Tallahassee, Fla.; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the residence of Selma Gibson Horton, 150 Caymen Drive, Martinez.
Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road, is in charge of arrangements.
