UNION POINT, Ga. -- Mrs. Janie Lou Channell Mize, 79, of 214 Binns St., died Friday, July 2, 1999, at Macon Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Callaway Funeral Home with the Rev. James Lee officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Mize, a native of Oconee County, had retired from Universal Rundle as a technician. She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles L. Channell and Jimmy Channell, both of Greensboro; a daughter, Betty Channell Armor, Macon; two brothers, Grover E. Wood, Pensacola, Fla., and Homer Wood, Folly Beach, S.C.; four sisters, Bertha Lundy, Union Point, Velma Webb Bauman, New Berlinville, Pa., Martha Stanford, Lilburn, and Sue Welsh, Orlando, Fla.; and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Crymes, Ronnie Crymes, Tony Patterson, Mike Dean, Billy Hawkins, Jack Cathey and J.D. Lundy.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
