SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Jeff Baicher, Ronald Cerritos and Mauricio Wright scored in the final 17 minutes to give the San Jose Clash a 4-3 victory over the Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer play Thursday night.
With Colorado trailing 3-1 midway through the second half, Baicher, who also had two assists, took a touch pass from Dario Brose from 20 yards out and curled a shot past a diving Marcus Hahnemann in the 73rd minute.
Four minutes later, Cerritos headed a crossing pass from Eddie Lewis to tie it. Wright netted the game-winner in the 80th minute from in close off a corner kick.
Lewis opened the scoring in the third minute, but Colorado took a 2-1 lead at halftime on goals by Ross Paule and Paul Bravo. Anders Limpar extended the lead to 3-1 in the 69th minute.
