Miss Gladys Taylor



GRANITEVILLE -- Miss Gladys Margaret Taylor, 83, formerly of 229 Leitner St., died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at G and G Retirement Center, Belvedere.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher Funeral Home, Langley, with the Rev. Paul Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Graniteville Cemetery.

Miss Taylor, a native of Graniteville, had retired from the Gregg Division of Graniteville Co. after 40 years. She was a member of Leisure Years Club and St. John United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sisters, Essie Knight, Aiken, Virginia Burgess, Anniston, Ala., and Roenella Jackson, Graniteville.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Couch, Ed Holsonback, Al McKay, Melzer Faulkner, Dennis Jones and Jack Williams.

Friends may call at the residence of her niece, Margaret Jones, and her sister, Shorty Jackson, 120 James St., Graniteville.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
