Mr. Wyman Tanner Sr.



TENNILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Wyman Lamar Tanner Sr., 73, of 1157 S. Highway 68, died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at University Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at E.K. May Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Romigh officiating. Burial will be in Zeta Cemetery.

Mr. Tanner, a native of Washington County, was a farmer and owner of a convenience store. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Bethesda Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jean B. Tanner; a son, Wyman Lamar Tanner Jr., Tennille; two daughters, Twanda Ann T. Phillips and Vickie T. Smith, both of Tennille; three sisters, Mildred Archer, Tennille, Alma Orr, Toomsboro, and Nina Moye, Dry Branch; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chad Phillips, Jeffrey Cramer, Marcus Cramer, Tony Tanner, Clint Smith and Larry Tanner.

Friends may call at the residence of Lamar Tanner, 1115 S. Highway 68.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
