SARDIS, Ga. -- Mr. Donald Heath, 40, of 7148 Highway 24 S., died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, at Columbia Augusta Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Second McCanaan Baptist Church with the Rev. William T. Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Beech Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Heath, a native of Burke County, was a machine operator. He was a member of Second McCanaan Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Donald Lamar Heath, Sardis; two daughters, Shasta Heath, Sardis, and Quanmeshia Heath, Waynesboro; his father, Richard Heath, Sardis; his mother, Mariah Givens, Girard; five brothers, Ulysses Cooper, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Calvin Heath, Savannah, and Robert Lee Heath, Lenwood Heath and Undra Heath, all of Sardis; five sisters, Claudine Cooper, Sylvania, Lillie Ann Cobb, Midville, Patricia Golphin, Girard, and Judy Ann Heath and Annie Bell Williams, both of Sardis; his maternal grandmother, Lucy Lane, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Robert Lee Heath, Undra Heath, Tony Ellison, Cliff Robertson, Lenwood Heath, Ulysses Cooper and Zaveyas Heath.
Friends may call at the residence of Richard Heath, 1640 Smoketown Circle, Sardis; or at Phinazee and Son Funeral Home.
